Bullying: At School and Beyond (a Dicussion)
All ages are welcome. Children & Adults!
Bullying is a serious issue for children and adults. It occurs in our families, schools, workplaces, and sometimes in our churches. So, let’s address it together within the context of our spirituality. The facilitators of this discussion, Pastor Jen Walters and Michele Barattucci, believe that both “bullies” and their “victims” are in need of coping skills, adult love and support as they seek to create healthy boundaries and put an end to harmful behavior, whether verbal, physical or both. At 3pm we will begin with all ages together to specifically address how bullying effects children. Then, the children will have a separate creative activity time (to make up a skit!) while the adults continue to discuss the topic.
